The Banana Dream follows the movement of bananas through a market in Kampala, Uganda, where a staple food becomes both nourishment and livelihood. As bananas move from hand to hand, women move between trading and childcare, holding the market together through ordinary acts of labour and care. The project observes these rhythms, where survival takes shape through work repeated day after day.
