I Came From the Sea traces the lives of Vietnamese boat people in the United Kingdom through portraiture and everyday observation. Developed through sustained engagement with London's Vietnamese community, it brings together two personal narratives alongside observations from a Vietnamese community centre. The work considers how memory, displacement, and belonging continue to shape everyday life across generations.
