This photographic project documents the restoration of historic railway carriages that form an important part of Taiwan's railway heritage. Produced over several years in collaboration with conservators and railway engineers, it preserves a visual record of the skilled labour, historic materials and conservation work involved in safeguarding these historic railway vehicles.
